Infinity Cigars

Introduction

For this review, we’re sharing the experience of Matt, better known as Cigar Hound Dog, who recently smoked the Infinity Cigars Night Shift Toro (6×52). This was his very first cigar from Infinity, and with a blend created by Sange Patel, expectations were high.

First Impressions

Matt praised the construction of the Night Shift Toro—firmly packed, evenly rolled, and comfortable in the hand. The wrapper had a dark chocolate color with a slight sheen, complemented by a closed foot and pig-tail cap.

This cigar is a Nicaraguan puro featuring a Maduro wrapper, with Nicaraguan binder and fillers.

First Third

The cigar started with a sweet cocoa powder flavor that coated the palate nicely. The smoke had a slightly dry texture, but the flavors kept it engaging.

Supporting notes included:

  • Black pepper and nutmeg spice through the retrohale
  • Espresso undertones
  • Hints of cherry sweetness

At this stage, the cigar sat at a medium body with a long finish and strong smoke output.

Second Third

The second third brought the highlight of the cigar. The cocoa powder evolved into chocolate mousse, giving the smoke a creamy, velvety texture.

Additional flavors included:

  • Black pepper, nutmeg, and floral spice
  • Espresso and cherry undertones
  • A touch of mesquite wood on the retrohale

Body increased to medium-plus, and this section was Matt’s favorite, delivering a rich and well-rounded profile.

Final Third

The last part of the cigar turned up the intensity. The profile shifted to medium-to-full body, with the spice becoming more dominant.

Main flavors included:

  • Black pepper and floral spice
  • Hickory wood and espresso
  • Very faint chocolate and cherry in the background

While flavorful, the spice level was a little stronger than Matt usually prefers. Still, for smokers who enjoy a bolder finish, this third will be satisfying.

Overall Thoughts

Cigar Hound Dog described the Infinity Night Shift Toro as a satisfying cigar overall. The first two-thirds offered dessert-like chocolate notes and smooth balance, while the final third delivered a spicier punch.

Highlights:

  • Excellent construction and draw
  • Flavors transition beautifully from cocoa to chocolate mousse
  • Affordable price point compared to many cigars today

Final Verdict: Satisfying

As Matt noted, this is a cigar that doesn’t break the bank and delivers plenty of flavor. If you like Nicaraguan puros that balance sweetness with spice, the Night Shift Toro is worth trying.
